SIS+ Personal Access
SIS+ Personal Access
allows students to view transcript, grades,
schedules, financial aid information housing information,
and more across the campus network.
Access to the SIS+ student information requires the use of your SSN and PIN.
Your PIN is a four-digit number that you use to access your personal
information at the SIS+ kiosks on campus or for course registration by
UDPHONE.
SIS+ Security
SIS+ Personal Access uses a security technology developed by
Netscape Communications
to ensure private and authenticated
communications. Secure Sockets Layer protocol, or SSL,
encrypts anything passed between
computers through the Internet. Encryption is a means of
disguising your student PIN and personal information.
In order to access this secure information you must use a Netscape Web browser.
If you are not using a Netscape Web browser, you may
download
a copy from the network.
Is Your Session Encrypted?
Users of Windows, Macintosh, and X-Windows Netscape Web browsers can determine if
encryption is action, when the key icon at the lower left corner of your screen
becomes solid, and a blue line appears at the top of the browser's screen.
The icon appears broken when not in use.
If you have questions about this software and its installation or
